Overview
We are seeking a friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our small hearing healthcare practice (one provider). In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our customers on the phone and in person.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Answer incoming phone calls, maintaining proper phone etiquette.
- Schedule patient appointments.
- Take payments.
- Provide clerical support/assistance to staff as needed.
- Process patient referrals.
- Scan documents into patient files.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi take and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
- Experience working as a front desk or medical/dental receptionist is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific industry needs
- Experience using computers. Good typing ability.
- Ability to learn our patient management software system for scheduling patient visits and taking payments.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and maintain professionalism at all times
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
