What You’ll Do

  • Support execution of HEAPY’s digital transformation roadmap alongside the Chief Innovation Officer
  • Lead initiatives focused on AI, automation, data analytics, and digital tools that improve business operations
  • Turn innovation strategy into project plans, timelines, deliverables, and measurable outcomes
  • Coordinate with internal teams, programmers, and external consultants to support implementation and adoption
  • Manage projects from concept through execution, ensuring timelines, goals, and results stay on track
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement and implement practical, high-impact solutions
  • Track progress, KPIs, and outcomes while supporting continuous improvement

Key Responsibilities

CORE OBJECTIVES

  • Supports execution of HEAPY’s digital transformation roadmap in alignment with organizational priorities and strategic direction established by leadership.
  • Translates innovation strategy into practical project plans, timelines, and actionable next steps that drive progress and results.
  • Coordinates implementation of AI, data analytics, automation, and other digital tools to improve workflows and business operations.
  • Partners with internal programmers, technical teams, and external consultants to support development, testing, deployment, and adoption of digital solutions.
  • Manages digital transformation initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and project goals remain on track.
  • Facilitates pilot programs, experimentation, and prototyping efforts to validate new tools and support scalable implementation.
  • Collaborates with leaders across engineering, operations, IT, marketing, HR, and other functions to ensure alignment and successful adoption of digital initiatives.
  • Identifies opportunities for operational improvement and supports execution of practical solutions that create measurable business impact.
  • Tracks project milestones, KPIs, risks, and outcomes, providing regular reporting and data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitors emerging digital and AI trends relevant to the AEC industry and supports application of those insights to HEAPY’s business needs.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested/needed.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing digital transformation initiatives, technology implementations, or process improvement projects within a mid to large organization.
  • Strong understanding of AI applications, digital tools, automation, and how technology can improve operations and project delivery.
  • Ability to translate strategic direction into actionable project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Strong project management, organization, and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with internal teams, programmers, and/or external vendors to support implementation and delivery.
  • Detail-oriented mindset paired with the ability to drive progress, accountability, and measurable results.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to remain sedentary at a workstation for long periods of time while operating a keyboard and using a computer screen.
  • Ability to operate a mouse, stylus, or similar tool to make adjustments on electronic visuals.
  • Ability to see details of objects on a screen, including differences in colors, shades, and brightness.
  • Ability to communicate in person, electronically, and via phone with other individuals.
  • Possession of reliable transportation to and from project sites.
  • Ability to work in all elements of indoor and outdoor environments, which include heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, etc.
  • Ability to access all areas of the jobsite with activities that include ascending and descending stairs, scaffolding, ladders, navigating elevation changes, etc.
  • Capable of working in physical positions that may include maneuvering oneself into different positions traditionally achieved by kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting, bending over, etc.
  • Ability to move, transport, or position items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to apply established protocols and practices in a timely manner. and follow safety guidelines for both company and clients.
  • Ability to gather, organize, and evaluate information related to digital transformation (such as digital trends, business operations, market trends, etc.).
