Qualifications
Normally requires a 4-year degree in Construction Management or Engineering (or equivalent experience) and 2–5 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or related MEP work. A mechanical background or exposure (HVAC, piping, or similar systems) is strongly preferred. OSHA Safety Training/Certification is required (or willingness to obtain).

What You’ll Do
- Support the full project lifecycle for MEP construction projects (typically up to $1M), with a focus on mechanical systems
- Learn to manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality with guidance from senior team members
- Serve as an on-site point of contact, helping coordinate communication between clients, contractors, and project teams
- Assist with project planning, documentation, and coordination of tasks across teams
- Support on-site supervision of construction activities, including equipment switchover work
- Help ensure projects meet safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, and inspections to monitor progress
- Deliver a Superior Client Experience while developing project management skills
- Year 1: Full-time, up to 5 days/week on-site in West Lafayette, Indiana
- After Year 1: Supporting projects across Central Indiana, with a home base in Indianapolis

Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains clear knowledge of HEAPY Corporate Vision, Mission, and Core Values and demonstrates alignment in all responsibilities
- Supports HEAPY Solutions service delivery consistent with established procedures and project milestones
- Assists in project planning efforts including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination
- Participates in project costing and bid preparation as needed
- Supports communication between clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Helps organize and maintain project documentation, including schedules, contracts, and meeting notes
- Conducts site visits and assists with inspections to monitor progress, safety, and quality
- Identifies and escalates project issues or risks to senior team members
- Ensures information for progress billing purposes is accurate and timely
- Participates in project review meetings and contributes to team coordination
- Builds foundational client relationships through strong communication and follow-through
- Continuously develops technical knowledge and project management skills
- Represents HEAPY Solutions culture in all interactions and supports colleague engagement
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to remain sedentary at a desk for periods of time while operating a computer.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and video conferencing.
- Reliable transportation to and from project sites required.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments (heat, cold, rain, wind, etc.).
- Ability to access all areas of a job site, including ladders, scaffolding, and stairs.
- Ability to move or transport items weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Must follow safety guidelines and apply established site protocols.
- Ability to gather, organize, and evaluate information related to project performance, costs, and schedules.
