Practice Environment
The gastroenterologist will join a collaborative clinical environment serving a growing adult patient population. Available resources may include:

Schedule
The practice model can generally be structured around:
- Three procedure-focused days
- One outpatient consultation day
- One flexible day for inpatient consultations, follow-up care, or administrative responsibilities
- Shared call participation
Specific clinical days and call expectations will be reviewed directly with qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders
- Perform colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and other appropriate procedures
- Provide inpatient consultations when scheduled
- Manage inflammatory bowel disease and chronic digestive conditions
- Evaluate gastrointestinal bleeding, liver disease, and suspected malignancies
- Coordinate treatment with primary care physicians, surgeons, hospitalists, and APPs
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care
- Document clinical services accurately and promptly
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Accredited Internal Medicine residency training
- Gastroenterology fellowship training completed or in progress
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Eligibility for Arizona medical licensure
- Strong procedural and clinical decision-making skills
- Experienced physicians and graduating fellows encouraged to apply
- Candidates completing fellowship in 2027 or 2028 are welcome
- Advanced endoscopy training is valued but not required
