We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Food Packers to join our team in a fast paced kitchen. As a Food Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that food products are packed hygienically and efficiently to meet quality and cleanliness standards before they are shipped to customers. This position requires a commitment to safety, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pack food into boxes or containers according to specifications.
- Inspect for quality and ensure they meet company standards before packing.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with inventory management by reporting any discrepancies
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling products.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food packing preferably with an airline or catering company is required
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic math skills for counting and measuring products.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
