What are the responsibilities and job description for the Juicer/Food Prep position at Healthy Soul Kitchen?
Healthy Soul Kitchen is a health store that provides grab and go meals and cold press juice. We are looking for someone to juice raw fruits and vegetables and ensure that the highest food safety standards are being met and exceeded. This person should be independent, organized, and enjoys working with fresh, raw ingredients!
Juicer will be required to lift, push/pull and stand for long periods of time. Food handling experience is preferred.
Responsibilities of the Juicer Position:
- Produce our menu of juices utilizing GoodNature X-1 Juicing machine
- Ensure that products prepared are high quality and meet standards
- Prep, wash and maintain produce
- Weigh and inventory all produce during and after juicing
- Execute cleaning procedures with precision, following all protocols
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent condition; Maintenance and care related to juicing machine as needed
- Maintain healthy and safe work environment, following all specified guidelines for cold-pressed juice
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
