Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning with precision and compassion.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
- Educate patients and their guardians on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive measures, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient four-handed dentistry practices that optimize patient care and clinic workflow.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure to practice dentistry with specialization or certification in pediatric dentistry preferred.
- Excellent patient care skills with an empathetic approach tailored to children’s needs.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with young patients, parents, and team members while maintaining professionalism.
