Full-Time Dentist — The Grove Dental

Cottage Grove, Oregon | Ownership Pathway Available

Compensation: $20,000/month guarantee

Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (3-day weekends)

Ownership: Partnership/buy-in pathway available for the right candidate

The Grove Dental is hiring a confident, hands-on dentist who wants to do real, full-scope general dentistry from day one — and who wants a clear path to ownership if they choose to take it. This is the right opportunity for a dentist (new grad or experienced) who is comfortable practicing independently, enjoys bread-and-butter procedures including extractions and dentures, embraces a prevention-first philosophy, and wants to help us build something they can be proud of.

Who We're Looking For

We need a dentist who is decisive, hands-on, and not afraid to work as the sole doctor in the practice. You'll be the clinical lead in the office day-to-day. You won't be alone professionally — you'll have ongoing collaboration and case support from the experienced dentists in our network of practices across Oregon — but in this chair, on this patient, you're the doctor.

This is not the right fit if: you refer out every surgical extraction, you're uncomfortable making a treatment decision without a second opinion in the room, or you only want to work in a multi-doc office.

This is the right fit if: you want autonomy, variety, and the chance to take real ownership — clinically and potentially as a partner — in a growing practice.

Clinical Scope

You should be confident performing, or eager to develop confidence in:

• Comprehensive general and restorative dentistry
• Extractions, including semi-difficult surgical extractions and erupted third molars
• Complete and partial dentures
• Endo and crown & bridge as your comfort and case mix allow
• Modern preventive dentistry, including SDF (silver diamine fluoride), fluoride varnish, sealants, SMART/ART techniques, and minimally invasive caries management

A Prevention-First Philosophy

The right candidate genuinely embraces preventive dentistry. We're looking for a doctor who reaches for SDF and minimally invasive options when they're the right call, who counsels patients on caries risk and home care like it actually matters, and who sees prevention as a clinical strength — not as something less interesting than drilling. If you light up when a patient's recall exam shows arrested decay, we want to talk to you.

The Grove Dental serves the Cottage Grove community with an emphasis on access, quality care, and long-term patient relationships. Our plan, and where you come in, is to:

• Grow the private-pay and PPO patient base alongside our existing foundation
• Continue investing in modern equipment and a prevention-focused approach
• Expand the clinical team as volume supports it
• Open a partnership/ownership pathway for a dentist who wants to build equity rather than just collect a paycheck

You Won't Be Practicing in a Vacuum

While you'll be the only dentist on-site, you'll have a network of experienced Oregon dentists in our group to collaborate with on complex cases, treatment planning, and continued learning. New grads, in particular, will have mentorship available — you just need to be willing to step up, not lean back.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Active Oregon dental license (or eligible to obtain before start date)
• Willingness to perform extractions and dentures/partials
• Genuine commitment to preventive, minimally invasive dentistry
• Comfortable being the sole doctor on-site
• Strong communication skills and genuine care for patients
