Healthy Pets of Wedgewood is seeking two dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) to join our growing team! We are currently hiring for the following roles:
- Surgery Technician
- Medical & Surgery Technician
We are a well-established, full-service veterinary hospital focused on high-quality, compassionate care. Our ideal candidates are skilled, motivated, and ready to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates must be proficient in:
- Basic anesthesia techniques and calculations
- Induction and recovery of surgical patients
- IV catheter placement
- Monitoring patients during surgical and dental procedures
- Venipuncture
- Laboratory sample collection and processing
- General nursing and patient care
Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in the state of Ohio: Preferred
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on clinical experience: Required
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in both routine and emergent situations

We offer flexible full-time scheduling options:
- Five 8-hour shifts per week
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Includes rotating weekends and holidays
Compensation
- $20–$24/hour, based on experience and skill level
- Sign on BONUS
