What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Health Screener (Phlebotomist/ Biometric Screener) position at Healthy Measures LLC?
Job Summary
We are currently contracting Per Diem Mobile Health Screeners for event based programs for Programs on 4/21 and 4/22, and all future events. The ideal candidate will have phlebotomy and/or health screening experience. In addition, the candidate must be service oriented, personable, professional in demeanor and actions, and enjoy interacting with people.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with venipuncture and/or fingerstick blood collection in a fast-paced environment
- 200 successful blood draws within the last 6 months either Venipuncture or Finger Sicks (Cholestech LDX or CardioChek) within the last year
- Punctual, responsible, and able to work with limited supervision
- Possess a professional demeanor and appearance
- Have reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a full background check and drug screen
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Venipuncture blood collection in an Event Setting
- Experience in a lab setting (i.e. LabCorp, Quest, etc.) or as a mobile examiner
- Experience using the Cholestech (LDX), CardioChek, and A1cNow Analyzers
- Previous experience at onsite wellness screenings
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
EDUCATION & TRAINING:
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent
- Medical credentials strongly preferred (CNA, CPT, MT, MA, LPN, RN, EMT)OSHA-GEN, Office Safety Training, and OSHA ICP Training a plus
- Comply with all state and federal licensing, credentialing, and educational requirements

- Onsite wellness screenings: 1 year (Preferred)
- Cholestech (LDX) and/or CardioChek: 1 year (Preferred)

These positions are per diem, and on an as-needed basis – NOT full-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct blood sampling and venipuncture procedures with precision and care.
- Perform physical examinations and collect patient vital signs.
- Process and handle specimens according to laboratory standards.
- Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the screening process.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively while communicating with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and specimen collection.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
