Join our team! Healthy Is Wellness is now accepting applications for a Part Time Wellness Coach in Billings, Montana. Healthy Is Wellness is a fast-growing corporate wellness company that utilizes high levels of engagement, convenience of use, and subjective & objective check-ins to facilitate experiences that lead to lasting changes in health behaviors. We also train Wellness Coaches to facilitate the “Healthy Is Wellness” solutions program. Interested in being a Wellness Coach? Healthy Is, is looking for enthusiastic individuals that are excited about changing people’s lives through changes in health and wellness behaviors. No previous wellness coaching experience is necessary. Coaching is a process that aims to improve performance and focuses on the 'here and now' rather than on the past or future. Coaching is about unlocking a person's potential to maximize their own performance, empowering the client to take control of their health.
What does a wellness coach do? Your role as a Wellness Coach will be to empower the clients we work with to take control of their health. Wellness Coaches guide clients through the process of wellness screening, breaking down their results, discussing barriers to changing health behaviors, and presenting the “Healthy Is Wellness” program. You will be trained through the Healthy Is Wellness methodology and curriculum, and your job will be to implement our strategies within Healthy Is Wellness guidelines.
Additional Responsibilities Include Interacting with existing Healthy Is Wellness clients. Motivating clients through one-on-one coaching to achieve health goals. Physical set up and break down of equipment and supplies. Participating in Healthy Is Wellness continuing education. Assessing and interpreting health screening results for clients. Guiding clients through check-in and health screening processes. Trouble shooting equipment. Travel to surrounding cities around Billings, including Bozeman, multiple times per month. Ability to use emails to send marketing and promotional content.
Education, Training, and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent Associates or Bachelor's Degree Preferred Valid Driver License with Clean Driving record No previous experience in health and wellness field required
Ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated to help others, have a desire to learn, and have great interpersonal communication skills Ability to work flexible hours Monday through Friday
Physical Requirements
All positions at Healthy Is Wellness require the ability to move about inside an office environment which includes the operation of computers and other office productivity machinery and frequently communicates with other employees, clients, vendors, and visitors. This position specifically requires ability to bend and squat for brief amounts of time. Ability to lift and push 40 lbs. Working Conditions This position will take place primarily in a mobile office (inside/outside) or office setting. This position will require travel within the Bozeman, Billings and south central Montana area. Owner Gus Schaff at 406-601-9787 will be reviewing applications upon receipt. This position provides a starting pay of $20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
