What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Daycare Attendant (Seasonal) position at Healthy Hound Playground?
WE ARE LOCATED IN Rockville, MD
We are looking for Seasonal staff to help out during the summer (and possibly future holidays).
*Shifts typically run 6:30am to 1:30pm / & / 12:30pm to 7:30pm.
Healthy Hound Playground is an upscale dog daycare and boarding kennel located in Rockville, MD. We are looking to hire folks whose personalities and work ethic will match the high standards we have set for this innovative dog daycare. You will enjoy working here if you love dogs and are diligent about following direction. Training is available for those new to the industry!
Dog Day Care Attendant Position/ Handler Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the day care room to ensure all dogs are playing safely and behaving properly
- Training to learn our methods and standards for safety
- Playing with dogs when the situation calls for it
- Cleaning tasks as necessary
- Comforting dogs that are stressed
Required Candidate Qualities:
- Genuine Love for Dogs / animals
- Calm/ Friendly Disposition
- Team mentality
- Attention to Detail when completing tasks
- Able to Act Quickly when needed for the welfare of the dogs
- Punctuality & Reliable Attendance
- Able to work Holidays and Summer
- Must have Reliable Transportation (own transportation preferred)
- Initial compensation is based prior experience.
