Back Office/ Front Office Medical Assistant
Duties-
- Check in patients, check insurance, collect copays, assist with phone calls
- Assist healthcare providers in the back office with patient care and procedures
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies
- Take patient medical history and vital signs
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant training program
- Previous experience working as a back office medical assistant is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Open to training potential candidates
