Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CAT Scan Tech for an overnight contract assignment in a fast-paced emergency and inpatient setting. The CT Tech will perform complex CT procedures, ensure diagnostic image quality, and support efficient workflow.
Schedule: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Tuesday–Saturday or Wednesday–Sunday | Holidays | No on-call
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex CT exams following established protocols
- Review patient history and exam orders for accuracy
- Administer contrast media and monitor patients for reactions
- Perform venipuncture and maintain IV access
- Ensure diagnostic image quality using PACS
- Provide clear instructions to patients and maintain safety/comfort
- Support dual-modality coverage (CT & X-ray) as needed
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Certified R.T.(R); CT certification preferred
- NJ Radiography License & BLS (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years CT experience in fast-paced ED/inpatient settings
- GE CT, Epic EMR, and PACS experience preferred
- Dual-modality (CT & X-ray) experience preferred
