Job Description
HealthWorks Medical, LLC is looking for a self-motivated and team-oriented Nurse to join our HealthWorks Marine Medical Management team. Hours are typically Monday through Friday 8:00 am until 5:00 pm (with telework options after training period). Some early morning hours and some late afternoon short-notice overtime is also a possibility.
Job Description Report:
- Acts as patient advocate in delivery and coordination of patient care.
- Able to manage a large number of patient’s cases with high energy and organization
- Collaborates with other health care providers and Medical Director regarding patient needs.
- Review and assess medical records to determine employee’s ability to perform job duties
- Respond to workplace injury or illness by triaging initial telehealth call and providing follow up care.

Required Skills:
- Ability to work independently and make decisions
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, staff and partnering companies
- Ability to organize, perform and prioritize multiple functions and tasks
- Ability to organize, attend and participate in staff development, training, and wellness programs
- Strong technical skills and the ability to adapt to new healthcare technology systems.
Minimum Education- Associates Degree or; one or two years related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Licenses [Kentucky, United States] RN or LPN
- Registered Nurse with a current KY license or valid compact state license OR
- LPN with a current KY license or valid compact state license
- BLS certification - American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American
Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current.
