Job Title: Occupational Medicine Clinic Manager
Location: Los Alamos, Nex Mexico
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated healthcare professional to lead our Occupational Medicine Clinic as part of the Newport News Nuclear (N3B) BWXT Los Alamos project. The Clinic Manager will oversee the delivery of comprehensive occupational health services, ensuring the highest standards of care for our employees while adhering to regulatory compliance and promoting a culture of safety and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the occupational medicine clinic, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Supervise clinical and administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and implement occupational health programs, including injury prevention, health promotion, and compliance with occupational health regulations.
- Collaborate with the safety department to identify workplace hazards and develop strategies to prevent occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Oversee the management of workers' compensation cases, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and communication with relevant parties.
- Conduct assessments and surveillance for occupational health risks and implement appropriate interventions.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to occupational health and safety.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and regulatory agencies.
- Manage clinic budget, resources, and inventory to ensure operational efficiency.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic operations.

Qualifications:Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of employment (preferred but not required)
- Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role within an occupational health setting.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health regulations, including OSHA standards and workers’ compensation laws.
- Experience developing and managing health programs and working with interdisciplinary teams.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
