Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS)/(RT) to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a Cath Lab environment. This role collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and other cardiovascular professionals to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Department: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
Location: Adams County
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Physiological monitoring equipment
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control standards
- Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly
- Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record
- Day Shift with on-call rotation as required
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field
- RCIS certification required/ RT
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and hemodynamics
- BLS /ACLS
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with interventional cardiology procedures
- Familiarity with EP or peripheral vascular cases not required
- Leadership or preceptor experience
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing and wearing of lead protection
- Ability to lift and position patients
- Exposure to radiation (protective equipment provided)
