- Physical therapists (PTs) are licensed health care professionals who help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility.
- PTs examine each individual and develop a plan using treatment techniques to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
- PTs work with individuals to prevent loss of mobility by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles.
- Physical therapists provide care in various settings including hospitals, private practices, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, schools, sports and fitness facilities, work settings, and nursing homes.
- Out Patient Physical Therapist position at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center.
- PT would see about 9-11 patients per day.
- Currently, 2 Out Patient PT's and 3 In Patient PT's on Staff.
- Job Requirements
- State licensure required in Arizona.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in physical therapy specialty.
- Schedule Information
- Shift options: 7a - 4p or 8a - 5p.
- Outpatient hours: 8a - 5p Monday through Thursday, 8a - 1p on Friday.
- Weekend shifts required.
- Unit Specific Information
- Outpatient physical therapy unit.
