Job Summary And Qualifications
The Learning and Development Facilitator is responsible for coordination and delivery of training solutions to include (but not limited to) basic to advanced leadership development, change management, operational excellence, organizational and team effectiveness, and other related topics to enhance leadership and organizational performance. As a member of the Learning and Development team, this position will develop outlines, course content, train-the-trainer guides, and participant workbooks, as well as facilitate live and virtual courses across the HealthTrust and Supply Chain employee population.

Job Summary And Qualifications
The Learning and Development Facilitator is responsible for coordination and delivery of training solutions to include (but not limited to) basic to advanced leadership development, change management, operational excellence, organizational and team effectiveness, and other related topics to enhance leadership and organizational performance. As a member of the Learning and Development team, this position will develop outlines, course content, train-the-trainer guides, and participant workbooks, as well as facilitate live and virtual courses across the HealthTrust and Supply Chain employee population.
What will you do in this role:
- Facilitate live and virtual training programs for HealthTrust employee operators and leaders
- Design, develop, and implement training programs that integrate adult learning theory, interactive activities, simulations, job aids, and include competency-based evaluations (reaction, learning, and application/behavior)
- Work collaboratively with programs director, programs manager, peers, and team members to assess existing learning and development curricula and offerings, and compare/contrast with immediate, short- and long-term business needs, strategic goals, and other targets and metrics
- Continually assesses and analyzes development needs for gaps to provide creative and innovative solutions and coaching sessions
- Evaluate effectiveness of training and performance of staff using evaluation/assessment methodologies
- Partner with corporate and division leadership teams and subject matter experts to improve on-the-job training content/activities
- Apply insights and learning to best understand immediate, medium, and longer-term learning and development needs for assigned responsibilities
- Prepare detailed action plans for training sessions to include agenda, audience, timelines, learning objectives, and outcomes, and education content and handout materials. Review plans with internal stakeholders to ensure collective leadership input and alignment
- Make a concerted effort to stay abreast of Supply Chain operations and organizational/industry changes that may impact employees
- Review/assess existing learning and development offerings versus new, extended, or enhanced opportunities
- Evaluate training impact and results, and share data with leadership teams for feedback and potential enhancements to programs
- Coach and mentor Subject Matter Experts on best practices for delivering training processes and information, and program participants in need of further direction or learning reinforcement
- Communicate training events, results, and opportunities to Supply Chain enterprise to engage employees in the learning and development
- Actively seek feedback from all levels within assigned facilitation segments to keep communications open and timely
- Able to travel to division training locations to conduct live training workshops when needed
- Bachelor’s degree; relevant professional experience may substitute for degree
- Minimum of five years of experience facilitating small and large groups of employees at all different levels
- Experience in the design, development, and implementation of formal training programs and events
- Experience facilitating virtual training using collaborative features and break-out rooms
- Experience with virtual training authoring tools (Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate)
- Experience in a matrix reporting environment preferred
- Proven track record for meeting or exceeding business objectives and goals
- Certified training facilitator or curriculum design certification preferred
