Key Account Manager
Objective:
Responsible for executing the strategy, achieving objectives, and managing the assigned accounts to meet sales, market share, distribution, profitability, and collections goals.
Responsabilities:
- Develop strategies and set sales goals in collaboration with Customer Marketing.
- Manage, grow, and achieve sales objectives within assigned key accounts.
- Prepare tailored sales plans for each account aligned with the annual operational plan.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients by identifying business needs and providing timely, efficient solutions.
- Present new products to clients and design offers, promotions, seasonal plans, and other sales-driving initiatives.
- Lead successful new product introductions within established deadlines.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with assigned accounts to track performance and opportunities.
- Visit accounts weekly to identify sales opportunities, provide service support, and manage collections.
- Coordinate with Sales Supervisors and Sales Representatives to ensure proper visit frequency, program execution, product visibility, rotation, and achievement of goals.
- Share information with the sales team regarding new products, promotions, and offers to ensure presence at the point of sale.
- Analyze account performance, monitor category sales, prepare trend reports, anticipate challenges, and implement corrective actions to protect sales results.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual agreements and negotiations.
- Communicate updates to clients regarding SKU changes, pricing adjustments, new products, and suggested profit margins.
- Deliver excellent customer service by acting as a trusted Sales Advisor, ensuring client satisfaction, and resolving complaints effectively.
- Monitor account credit status and carry out necessary collection efforts in line with company policies.
- Keep management informed of market trends and competitor activities, providing recommendations to drive sales growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of prior sales experience, preferably in Food/Personal care categories
