Position Information
Position Overview
The Manager, Implementation is responsible for leading the onboarding phase of an effective post-sale customer success journey. This individual supervises a team of Implementation Specialists to meet or exceed customers’ and internal stakeholders’ expectations. The Manager, Implementation is passionate about the success of HealthStream clients and continually serves as an advocate. This individual possesses technical and business knowledge of configuration strategies related to the WF solutions supported and may advise clients on best practices to support long-term adoption of the products. The Manager, Implementation works in a matrix environment across internal departments including Sales, Product, Systems, and Customer Experience, and interfaces directly with customers. Strong interpersonal skills are critical to success in this position, as well as the ability to plan and execute activities with minimal supervision. In addition, the Manager, Implementation may mentor and/or lead large scale enterprise or premium implementations.
Occasional travel is required to support customer or partner relationships.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
Ensures team members are executing essential duties and demonstrating service excellence, exhibiting cost/quality balance, and consulting with other departments on best practices.
Ensures accurate project artifacts department performance metrics and documentation on an ongoing basis for continuous evaluation and the development of an accessible knowledge base.
Provides personal oversight on high-priority or highly complex customer projects.
Communicates weekly status on identified productivity and success measures.
Leads, mentors and motivates staff; promotes individual accountability, operational/service excellence, and fosters a positive team culture.
Ensures consultation with sales to ensure effective transition from pre-sales to implementation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or an equivalent.
At least 4 years in operations or implementations management, or other relevant role
Experience in the healthcare industry strongly preferred
Experience in supporting customer lifecycle in a SaaS business strongly preferred
May require up to 10% travel
Qualifications
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail
Highly proficient in the use of technical applications for business purposes
Highly proficient in the interpretation of business-related data and KPIs
Works independently, exhibiting a high degree of personal ownership and accountability
Demonstrates a persistent commitment to service excellence
Establishes high degree of trust and credibility internally and among customers
Respectfully works within a multi-disciplinary, matrixed team with a focus on meeting organizational and team goals

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $70,352 - $80,889. Salary will be determined on the candidate’s level of experience and qualifications. Compensation will be commensurate with skills, relevant experience, and performance in similar roles.
