Position Overview
The Digital Marketing Intern will support HealthStream’s marketing team across a variety of digital channels, including website, SEO, paid media, social media, ecommerce, and email marketing. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience with real-world marketing campaigns and tools, contributing directly to initiatives that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
Throughout the internship, the intern will rotate through key areas of digital marketing, gaining exposure to strategy, AI tools, execution, and performance analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated student to build practical skills while working alongside experienced marketing professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in updating and optimizing website content within CMS platforms
- Support SEO initiatives, including keyword research and on-page optimization
- Help create and schedule social media content across multiple platforms
- Assist with paid media campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.), including reporting and analysis
- Support ecommerce marketing efforts, include campaigns, merchandising and promotions.
- Support email marketing efforts, including building and QA-ing campaigns
- Conduct competitive research and marketing trend analysis
- Assist with reporting on campaign performance using tools like GA4
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product marketing and design
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Relevant coursework or academic experience in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts (SEO, social media, ecommerce, email, paid media)
- Basic understanding of AI prompting, research and content creation
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools
- Previous internship or project experience in marketing is a plus but not required

- Full time 35-40 hours
- The program will run for 10-12 weeks depending on availability
