CHI St. Alexius Health in Dickinson, North Dakota, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our established team. This is a high-demand replacement position with immediate patient volume, strong internal referrals, and virtually no competition in the local market. (ATLS and PALS Required per the State of North Dakota)

With access to a modern OR, a supportive medical community, and upcoming program expansions (wound care and bariatrics), this is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon with trauma, GI, or Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience.

• High Base Salary: $517,270 guaranteed

• Lucrative Incentive Model: wRVU threshold 6,815; Conversion Factor $75.90

• Forgivable Loan: $155,181 total over 3 years (10% of base salary annually)

• CME Support: $3500 for single boarded; $5000 for double boarded physicians

Practice Highlights

• Clinic & OR Balance: 2.5 clinic days 2 OR days per week

• Clinic Volume: 15–20 patients/day

• OR Cases: 3–6 per day, wide variety including laparoscopic, GI, trauma, and bariatric procedures

• Procedures Include: Colonoscopy, EGD, appendectomy, lap chole, bowel resection, hernia repair, trauma surgery, gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, and more

• Advanced Practice Provider Support: NP starting Oct. 1 for increased efficiency

• Call: 1:3 rotation (10 days/month) – with flexibility in clinic scheduling during call weeks
