Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications by reading medication orders and prescriptions; preform data entry of prescriptions, preparing labels; calculating quantities;
counting medications and labeling prescription bottles and completing final verification of prescriptions. - Anticipates needed medications and supplies by placing and expediting orders, verifying receipts, and removing outdated drugs.
- Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Provide counseling to patients on their prescriptions and OTC medications.
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Pharmacy License
- Immunization Certification by accredited organization
- Pharm. D. or BS in pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
- 1 to 2 years of experience
