We are seeking a Cardiac Stress Technician (Exercise Physiologist, EKG Tech, or EMT) to support cardiac nuclear medicine testing in collaboration with our nuclear medicine technologists.
Requirements
ACLS, BLS, IV proficiency, EKG Class or prior fluent knowledge of cardiac rhythm interpretation.
Essential Functions
Collaborate with Cardiac Nuclear Technologists to address issues at HealthScan accounts and exceed physician and staff expectations. Manage and file patient records for tests, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Maintain non-nuclear supplies and equipment, ensuring preparedness and safety. Prepare patients for stress testing procedures and perform data entry accurately. Monitor patients during stress testing and apply ACLS algorithms when needed. Set up and monitor 12-lead EKG stress testing, proficient in EKG rhythm identification. Prepare and tear down mobile operations at account sites, maintaining cleanliness and organization. Complete all data entry and paperwork, following established protocols and regulations.

Dedication to excellent customer service and patient care. Maintain patient confidentiality. React effectively in emergency situations, applying necessary measures for patient care. Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and patients. Work independently, efficiently, and adapt to travel requirements.

Travel Requirement
Up to 50% travel.
Education
Associate degree required.
License/Certification
