Assertive Community Treatment Peer Specialist Weekend Services- Full‑Time
Location: Salisbury, MD
Salary Range: $40,000–$55,000 annually
Schedule: 3‑day, 30-hour work week — Friday through Sunday
Position Summary
The Weekend team Peer Specialist Weekend Services will share the responsibility to carry out the activities designed to assure ACT mission success on and off site, in groups and one-to-one contacts, in formal as well as informal situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Take part in all agency training programs as requested.
- Maintain a high quality of treatment at HealthPort using evidenced based practices.
- Carrying out assignments to fulfill the ACT mission of providing sanctuary and support to members in the community.
- Provide specialty expertise to the ACT team in navigating the mental health system as a client.
- Assist in coordination of services received from other community agencies.
- Maintain total confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards and Maryland State Regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by the Weekend Team Leader
Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Direct experience with the mental health systems.
- National certification as a Peer Specialist preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid full driver's license with a safe driving record.
