An innovative company at the forefront of providing premium real estate to the dynamic healthcare industry, the firm is committed to delivering value to our shareholders, customers and employees.Position ResponsibilitiesPrimary focus on lab and outpatient medical assets Support senior housing assets as neededTechnical expertiseProvide technical support to the property management and building engineersConduct property condition assessments on a regular schedule for portfolio properties and during due diligence as neededReview preventative maintenance performance to drive improvements and identify capital needsProvide project management oversight and act as owner’s representative to ensure capital is deployed as effectively as possible Provide regular project updatesManage project executionAttend key milestone meetingsDrive key decisions and course correctionsProject management and cost analysisTenant improvementsOversee third-party project management teams, including financial tracking, budgeting, schedule adherence, and execution of capital improvement projects.Support the leasing team by reviewing and responding to tenant mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) inquiries during lease negotiations and fit-out planningInterface directly with prospective tenants to clarify building infrastructure capabilities, coordinate site walkthroughs, and provide technical information as needed.Budgeting and Forecasting Responsible for the development and execution of portfolio capital strategy Responsible for tracking year-to-date progress of capital spend CommunicationCommunicate with property management team and operators on an ongoing basisOversee and provide guidance to operators and third-party providersLead preparation and emergency response to all portfolio emergencies including natural disastersProvide support for emergency communications and tracking material incidents and status of owned properties during natural disasters. Collaborate with asset management and operating partners on portfolio strategyCollaborate with peers across multiple portfolios to identify best practices and opportunities for improvement across property types Other ResponsibilitiesLead portfolio sustainability plans and execution Involvement in special initiatives requiring presentations to key stakeholdersReviewing contracts and providing input for legal reviewEvaluate and identify opportunities to improve property value through reducing utility consumption or otherwise reducing operating expensesEnsure technical capability of portfolio increases through vendor partnerships and trainingDrive process improvement Build relationships with key vendors Position Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural preferredAt least 4 years of work experience in mechanical engineering, building design, construction management, project management, architecture field or closely related facility management environmentExperience in capital planning and cost estimatingSuperior verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skillsStaff management experience a plusStrong research skills and ability to source a solution/option quickly when presented with a challengeAdept at managing multiple priorities and tasks concurrently with limited oversightAdvanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environmentDemonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detailDemonstrate an understanding of finance and real estate conceptsAbility to solve problems and facilitate creative solutionsAbility to safely climb and descend vertical ladders, navigate difficult terrain and tight spaces such as attics, building rooftops, or crawl spaces if deemed safe and necessary, and walk 5-10 miles per day without issueAbility to work efficiently remotely and communicate effectively while traveling; ability to work well independently and in team/group environmentsTravel as necessary up to 30%$200k - $240k/yr salary based on experience with additional incentives.Powered by JazzHRgI9sN2ydS4
