What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. HR Generalist position at HealthOne Alliance?
The Senior HR Generalistis responsible for performing daily functions of the Human Resources Department including administering human resources policies, procedures, and provides proactive support to the HR team, operational leaders, and employees.
Responsibilities
· Administers and supports Human Resource programs, including benefits, leave management, employee relations, performance and talent management, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development
· Assists with onboarding and new hire processes to ensure a seamless employee experience
- Support leaders in the performance review process, providing guidance on best practices in alignment with HealthOne’s cultural framework
- Facilitate goal-setting and career development discussions
- Work with employees and managers to develop performance improvement plans when necessary
- Identifies training needs and coordinate relevant training programs for employees
- Supports continuous learning and skill development across teams
- Assists in coaching and guiding leaders as they develop employees
· Serves as an escalation point for employee questions about a wide variety of topics including compliance, workplace policies, compensation and benefits, performance, development, and workplace interactions
· Prepares and analyzes HR data for the purpose of sharing with leaders, identifying trends, and actively solutioning for improved business results
· Supports the administration and selection of employee benefits
· Assists with audits and compliance reporting, including I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, and payroll audits
· Maintains accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance
· Provides guidance to applicants and employees on company policies and procedures, ensuring a high level of customer service and support
· Updates and maintains the HRIS system to ensure data accuracy and efficiency
· Completes and verifies Forms I-9, maintaining compliance with employment eligibility requirements
· Prepares and maintains job descriptions and postings
· Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and interviews and processing change forms
· Administers and supports employee separations by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring proper documentation
· Assists with research projects and special initiatives as needed
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
· 5-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role with a strong preference for candidates with hands-on Workday expertise
· HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) strongly preferred
· Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
