About the Role:
The RN OR Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the operating room by coordinating nursing activities and facilitating communication among surgical teams. Minimum Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
- Minimum of 3 years of perioperative nursing experience, preferably in an operating room setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and perioperative nursing standards.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) credential.
- Experience in operating room coordination or management roles.
- Advanced certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and surgical scheduling software.
- Demonstrated leadership or team management experience.
Responsibilities:
