We believe in the power of storytelling through social media, and we're looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Summer Intern to join our team!
Job Description:
Are you a social media enthusiast with a flair for creativity? Do you have a knack for generating engaging content and a passion for visual storytelling? If so, we want you to join our team as a Summer Social Media Assistant intern! This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on paid experience in the world of social media while supporting our manager in curating amazing content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in person with the social media manager to create and curate content that aligns with our brand voice and goals.
- Assist in planning and scheduling posts across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Help with lighting and setup for photo and video shoots to ensure high-quality visual content.
- Brainstorm and contribute fresh ideas for our monthly content calendars.
- Monitor social media trends and industry news to keep our content relevant and engaging.
- Engage with our online community through comments and direct messages.
- Support the team with administrative tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Rising senior or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field in the Charleston, SC area.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Can work with Canva and CapCut with ease.
- Basic photography and editing skills (knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus!).
- Creative mindset with a passion for content creation and digital marketing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with a passion for learning.
