What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Office Administrator position at Healthgram, Inc.?
Healthgram, a leader in employer-sponsored health plan administration, is looking to fill a position as Claims Office Administrator. This entry-level position will serve in a hybrid role bouncing between receptionist and data entry duties. It will help build a foundational understanding of record keeping, health insurance claims, and strong clerical skills.
Please note that this position works 100% in-office.
What the Claims Office Administrator can expect:
- Key paper claims with speed and accuracy into system
- Serves as backup for Receptionist desk and their duties
- Upload and log keyed paper claims and other documents into electronic file system with accuracy
- Sort and look-up incoming claims via mail
- Scan paper claims into individuals scanned folders as requested
- Other assignments as assigned by management
What the ideal candidate will bring:
- High school diploma or greater
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Multi-tasking and able to prioritize daily work assignments to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and team player
- Self-motivator that can work in fast paced-office environment
- Strong keyboarding skills (40 WPM or higher)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
