SUMMARY:
We are searching for a PRN team member with Medical Assistant & Medical Scheduling skills to work in our clinics. Our ideal candidate will have great interpersonal communication skills. This is currently a PRN position to help cover in our Dallas area clinics in and around Dallas. We have clinics in other areas of Texas also.

This is currently a PRN position to help cover in our Dallas area clinics in and around Dallas. We have clinics in other areas of Texas also.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Make outbound calls and take inbound calls.
- Ensure the office has the correct demographic and insurance information on file.
- Schedule patients for yearly exams.
- Assist patients with scheduling appointments.
- Perform the MA portion of our advanced wellness testing.
- Call on campaigns to schedule.
- Meet weekly and monthly scheduling goals.
- Proactively implement and execute scheduling processes.
- Comfort patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering patient questions.
- Update patient records.
- Follow all HIPAA regulations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least 1 year of clinic experience.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Experience with EMR Systems. Preferably ECW and Athena.
- POSITIVE, professional attitude and code of conduct.
- Excellent, professional communication skills.
- Ability to schedule/encourage pts to schedule.
Job Type: PRN - as needed.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour.
Schedule:
- Up to an 8-hour shift.
- Monday to Friday occasional Saturdays.
Work Location: In person @ Dallas
Salary : $19 - $21
