Responsibilities
- Conduct school-based speech-language evaluations and screenings as part of district evaluations
- Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports, eligibility determinations, and related documentation
- Communicate findings and recommendations with district staff, families, and other stakeholders
- Travel between district sites as required; document travel and submit records in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate student records in the district’s electronic systems and ensure confidentiality
- Comply with fingerprinting and background-check requirements and adhere to school policies and ethics
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Experience conducting educational or district/school-based evaluations
- Ability to work in an Educational Support Center setting and to travel; mileage reimbursement provided
- Proficiency with evaluation planning, scoring, and reporting for speech-language pathology
- Fingerprinting (state CBI and FBI) required and must be completed before start
