Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to patients per physician orders, including initial assessment and ongoing monitoring
- Administer inhaled medications, oxygen, aerosol therapies, and airway clearance techniques
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment (oxygen delivery systems, ventilators, suction devices)
- Assess patient response to therapy, document findings, and adjust treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with nursing and multidisciplinary teams; participate in rounds and maintain patient safety and infection control
