Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures, including monitoring during EP studies and ablations.
- Prepare, assist with, and support EP laboratory procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.
- Conduct pre- and post-procedure assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to clinical changes as part of the EP team.
- Administer medications per orders and manage perioperative care in the EP lab and recovery area.
- Document patient information and procedures accurately in the unit’s electronic medical record; communicate findings to physicians and care teams.
- Collaborate with electrophysiology physicians, technologists, and support staff to maintain high-quality care and patient safety standards; respond to emergencies per established protocols.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the electrophysiology specialty (EP Lab or EP-related procedures).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced EP lab environment and hospital setting.
- Willingness to travel for a travel assignment and maintain reliability for the duration of the contract.
