Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanner to perform quality imaging studies as prescribed by the physician, following established standards and protocols
- Position patients, administer contrast as required, and monitor for patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Review CT studies for image quality and accuracy; communicate findings and any concerns to the radiologist
- Adhere to safety guidelines, maintain proper patient labeling, and document procedures accurately
- Collaborate with radiology team to ensure timely completion of imaging studies and proper workflow
- Maintain CT equipment, report malfunctions, and assist with routine preventive maintenance as needed
Requirements
- Active New York license for Radiologic Technologist (X-ray)
- ARRT certification required in CT
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CT imaging experience
- Ability to work nights and participate in a travel assignment
- Eligible for local rate within 75-mile radius
