Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures in alignment with department policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Position patients, select appropriate CT protocols, and operate the CT scanner and related equipment.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort; apply standard infection control practices and safety precautions.
- Administer contrast media and coordinate with radiologists as required, ensuring proper documentation and patient monitoring.
- Review images for diagnostic quality; process and transfer images for interpretation by the radiology team.
- Maintain accurate patient records, uphold ARRT standards, and participate in team communication and patient care workflows.
Requirements
- Active ARRT CT certification (hard copy) required
- BLS required
- Minimum of 2 years CT experience
- Philips CT experience required
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and adhere to department policies
- Demonstrated professionalism and ability to collaborate with the care team
