Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed radiation treatments per the treatment plan using Mosaiq and an Elekta linear accelerator
- Properly position and immobilize patients to ensure accurate, reproducible treatment delivery
- Verify treatment orders, review patient data, and document sessions in the Mosaiq system
- Perform image-guided therapy as required, including setup verification imaging
- Monitor patients during treatment and respond to urgent needs or concerns
- Perform routine equipment QA and coordinate with the radiation oncology team (oncologist, physicist, dosimetrist) to ensure treatment quality and safety
Requirements
- Experience demonstrating thorough knowledge of imaging procedures and/or techniques (examples may include myelograms, discograms, arthrograms, and radiography of chest, skull, GI tract, urinary tract, and vascular systems)
- Proficiency with Mosaiq patient management system
- Proficiency with Elekta linear accelerator equipment
- Ability to work in a hospital-based radiation therapy setting as a travel assignment
