Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for residents and develop individualized goals and treatment plans addressing activities of daily living, upper-extremity function, mobility, cognition, and safety.
- Deliver one-on-one and, as appropriate, small-group therapy sessions to support functional independence and safe community reintegration within the facility.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust goals and interventions, and document outcomes in the electronic health record in a timely, accurate manner.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, rehab, social work, physicians) to coordinate care plans, participate in care planning meetings, and support discharge planning.
- Ensure safety, infection control, and adherence to regulatory and payer requirements; select and train residents and staff on assistive devices and adaptive equipment as needed.
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and team members; provide education and training to support carryover of therapeutic activities.

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in North Dakota or eligibility to practice in North Dakota.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience in acute care or skilled nursing/long-term care settings preferred.
- Ability to work in a long-term care environment, with availability for a dayshift travel assignment.
- Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Capacity to manage a 13-week travel assignment and relate well within a multidisciplinary team.
