Responsibilities

• Scrub in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) cases, maintaining sterile technique and proper instrument handling
• Assist the surgical team with cardiology procedures in the hybrid cath lab, passing instruments and maintaining a ready-workflow
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, implants, and equipment; manage counts and specimen handling per protocol
• Position patients, transport supplies, and assist with intraoperative positioning and patient safety during procedures
• Coordinate with circulating staff, anesthesia, and specialty teams to ensure efficient case flow and patient care
• Document perioperative activities, instrument usage, and any intraoperative events in the medical record
  
  

Requirements

• Active Colorado CST license (DORA) required
• Certification in Surgical Technology from NBSTSA or AST or NCCT
• Graduate of an accredited scrub technologist program
• CVOR CST experience; experience in a Hybrid Cath Lab setting preferred
• Current BLS certification via the American Heart Association
• Must reside at least 75 miles away from the assignment location
• Ability to work in a hospital CVOR / Hybrid Cath Lab environment
