Responsibilities

• Provide RN-level nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including continuous assessment and monitoring of health status
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy; monitor for adverse effects
• Conduct health screenings and support preventive care initiatives aligned with public health goals; coordinate immunizations as appropriate
• Monitor infection prevention and control practices; identify outbreaks, implement isolation measures when needed, and document findings per policy
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; communicate with residents and families; assist with discharge planning and referrals
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  
  

Requirements

• Active RN license in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Ability to work a 3x12 night shift (18:00–06:30) and participate in orientation scheduled on Tuesdays or Thursdays
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• Experience in long-term care or public health nursing is preferred
• Proficiency with standard nursing procedures and electronic medical records
