Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele in Kealakekua, Hawaii. Travel - temporary assignment starting 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,270–$2,324. No guaranteed hours. Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.). Work on a medical-surgical telemetry unit in an inpatient setting, with patient care that covers a spectrum of adult medical and telemetry needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients on a med-surg telemetry unit
• Monitor patient status and telemetry readings; respond to changes and alarms
• Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies; perform basic dressings as needed
• Document care in the electronic health record with accurate, timely charting
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to refine plans of care and discharge planning
• Provide patient and family education and support to promote safety and recovery
  
  

Requirements

• Active Hawaii RN license or eligibility for Hawaii licensure
• Degree from an accredited nursing program (RN), such as ADN or BSN
• BLS certification required
• 1 year of Med-Surg Telemetry or inpatient care experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (days or nights); strong assessment and communication skills
• Reference checks will be conducted via email
