- Monitor cardiovascular rhythms and overall patient status; identify rhythms and respond per protocol (Q4 rhythm checks)
- Administer prescribed meds and IV therapies (examples include heparin, TPN, Lasix, Cardizem non-titrating drips) and follow unit protocols for drips
- Assess, plan, implement, and document care; anticipate changes in patient conditions and escalate as needed
- Collaborate with the care team, coordinate with physicians, and participate in rounds; ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EPIC)
- Floating to other units as needed; no on-call requirement; adhere to weekend and holiday rotation
- Current Massachusetts RN license with active status; NURSYS verification pulled within the last week; must show all licenses (past and present)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
- EPIC EMR experience; unit-specific familiarity with Med/Surg/Telemetry is preferred
- 1–2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience; travel experience required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and rhythm identification skills; ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Flu vaccine required during flu season
- Must provide 2 recent Manager/Supervisor references in a matching specialty
- Must document prior travel experience; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics; ability to work rotating shifts, including days rotating to nights if needed
- Assignment support from dedicated clinical and recruiting teams, including 24/7 travel assistance
- Potential for extension opportunities based on unit needs and performance
- Structured process for credentialing and onboarding; fast credentialing timelines where possible
- Support for documentation and references to ensure a smooth onboarding process
