Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging and radiographic X-ray examinations according to protocol
• Position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters to optimize image quality
• Verify patient identity, prepare and assist patients before procedures, and monitor during imaging
• Maintain radiation safety practices and minimize exposure to patients and staff
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and results in the imaging information system; communicate findings to radiologists as needed
• Assist with equipment safety checks, basic maintenance, and room turnover between studies
  
  

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Colorado radiologic technologist certification (CT) and ARRT CT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to perform CT and radiographic imaging and to work in a rural Critical Access hospital environment
• Willingness to adhere to a 3x12-hour shift pattern with weekend coverage and to travel for a 13-week assignment
• Must reside at least 65 miles away from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
