Responsibilities

• Transport patients to the CT area according to their physical abilities and exam requirements
• Use positioning aides as needed to produce a quality patient exam
• Operate all CT imaging equipment and related systems
• Protect patients by following X-ray department policies, sterile technique, and Universal Precautions
• Administer contrast media as ordered by the Radiologist
• Assist in performing special procedures and in the training of Radiology students
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with department policies
• Clean rooms after examinations and restock linen and supplies
  
  

Requirements

• ARRT-registered/certified CT Technologist (required)
• BLS Certification (required)
• AMA-approved radiology technology program completion (education)
• Two years of radiology CT experience preferred
• Ability to work on-site in a hospital imaging department
