Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams using established protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
• Position patients accurately, select appropriate exposure factors, and obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate radiology equipment and digital imaging systems; monitor and adjust as needed to maintain image quality; maintain radiation safety per ALARA guidelines
• Process and route images to the appropriate electronic health record system (Cerner); communicate findings and any concerns to radiologists and clinical staff
• Adhere to infection control practices, patient privacy standards, and department policies; maintain room and equipment readiness between exams
• Collaborate with radiology team and other clinicians to fulfill orders efficiently and support timely patient care
  
  

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
• Minimum 2 years of recent radiology experience in the specialty
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Cerner electronic health record experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; schedule includes weekends and 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with 12x3 pattern
• Willingness to participate in a travel assignment; must be eligible to work in the United States
