Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures under radiologist supervision, including vascular and general IR cases, with appropriate imaging guidance
• Operate IR imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, angiography) and ensure image quality while following radiation safety protocols
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, monitor vitals, administer contrast media as directed, and respond to adverse reactions
• Maintain sterile technique, assist with patient positioning, and support the IR team with procedural needs
• Document procedures in the EPIC EMR, ensuring accurate data entry, labeling, and timely reporting
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists; participate in rotating weekend coverage and on-call scheduling
  
  

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts license for radiologic technologist (ARRT-certified) required at time of submission
• ARRT certification required at time of submittal
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Ability to work in a hospital setting with rotating weekends and on-call; valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
