Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic procedures
• Operate and monitor specialized nuclear medicine imaging equipment to generate functional images of organs and tissues
• Explain procedures, ensure radiation safety for patients and staff, and follow established safety protocols
• Maintain, calibrate, and document equipment performance; perform basic quality control and record-keeping
• Collaborate with physicians to interpret images and contribute data to patient care plans and research
• Adhere to hospital-based policies and participate in ongoing quality improvement as needed
  
  

Requirements

• 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) experience required
• Cardio imaging experience required
• NMTCB certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification preferred
• Ability to work across multiple sites and adapt to a travel assignment environment
