What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed clinical massage Therapist (LMT) position at Healthfirst?
We are searching for a clinical massage therapist who can focus on addressing orthopedic and physical conditions through targeted massage techniques to reduce and improve pain, function and overall well being.
They should utilize a range of techniques including neuromuscular trigger point and stretching.
Clinical massage therapist should have experience to focus on healing injuries improve function and increase strength and circulation.
The therapist will work with the Dr and Patient to improve overall health
Patients are referred to you and scheduled.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic services, including trigger point therapy and deep tissue techniques, to alleviate pain and promote relaxation.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to tailor treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment progress.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and the benefits of massage therapy.
- Uphold a clean and safe treatment environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Massage Therapy License (LMT)
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage techniques
- Excellent patient assessment and pain management skills
- Exceptional customer service and patient service abilities
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
