The Director, Workforce Analytics & Strategy leads Healthfirst’s enterprise workforce analytics capability and strategic workforce planning function.
This role is responsible for transforming workforce data into actionable insights that support organizational strategy, financial performance, operational effectiveness, and talent outcomes.
The Director partners closely with Human Resources leadership, HR Business Partners, Leadership Development, Finance, HR Operations, and enterprise leaders to develop data-driven insights across workforce areas such as hiring, retention, engagement, workforce composition, productivity, and labor cost.
This role establishes the governance, reporting discipline, and analytical capability required to support strategic workforce decisions and strengthen Healthfirst’s ability to plan, attract, develop, and retain talent.
The Director will help evolve Healthfirst’s people analytics capability from traditional reporting toward strategic workforce intelligence, enabling leadership to proactively identify workforce risks, productivity opportunities, and workforce cost optimization strategies.
Scope of Responsibilities
- Partner with the HR Leadership Team and HR Business Partners to inform and deliver upon Healthfirst’s talent strategy.
- Using data, identify solutions which will address Healthfirst’s strategic objectives.
- Oversee the development of compelling workforce stories and actionable insights through HR business intelligence and data visualization to recruit, select, grow and retain talent at Healthfirst.
- Partner with Finance to develop multi-year talent projections based upon key staffing principles, supply/demand/gap analysis, and key performance metrics.
- Consults with business partners (HR, Finance, Business Units) to identify workforce needs, develop hypotheses and execute related quantitative analyses.
- Lead and develop the People Analytics team to build a high-performing workforce analytics capability.
- Establish discipline and governance in workforce reporting and analytics.
- Develop executive-ready workforce reporting that provides leadership with visibility into workforce performance and organizational health.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to work in office at 100 Church Street 3 days per week (Tues/Wed/Thurs).
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- 7 years of experience in workforce analytics, people analytics, workforce planning, or related analytical fields
- Demonstrated experience leading analytics or reporting teams
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills including experience with workforce metrics, forecasting, and modeling
- Experience working with HR data systems and enterprise analytics tools
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect workforce analytics to operational and financial outcomes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex insights to non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in analytics, business, economics, or related field
- Experience working with Workday HR systems
- Experience using analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Prism, or similar business intelligence platforms
- Experience with workforce planning and predictive modeling
Salary : $215,000 - $250,000
